Serene farmstay, rustic space
Chirakvan is a serene farmstay deeply rooted in service to the land and love for the community. Co-nurtured by our lovely and much grounded hosts, Sampada and Madhu, it is a rustic space where you feel immediately at home yet a part of the wilderness. Their philosophy and the hard work on a land that is testing, are commendable and inspiring. We spent a deeply nourishing time in the forested lands, sitting quietly by a river, swimming in it, and gazing at the night time sky. Madhu’s wholesome cooking and the open-hearted conversations at the dinner table left a warm glow in our hearts.
Pleasing stay, delicious food
Very pleasing place; a very knowledgeable and warm couple host – Madhu and Sampada. They have built a good eco-system of natural farming which you get to enjoy while your stay. The food was delicious as well.

Chirak Van in Nargoli Village, Mandangad, is truly a serene and peaceful escape — a place where you can unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience life at a slower, more meaningful pace. Whether you’re looking for a quiet vacation or a chance to volunteer on a farm, Chirak Van offers the perfect setting. Madhu and Sampada have created something truly special here — a safe, welcoming space for families, especially children. I spent a few days at Chirak Van with my wife and our 3-year-old daughter, and it was one of the most refreshing experiences we’ve had as a family. Our daughter still fondly talks about Chiku and Butler, the adorable pets on the farm. Watching her run barefoot through the garden, chasing butterflies, was such a heartwarming sight. It made me realize how, growing up in the city, I had played with butterflies and sparrows all the time — but for my daughter, they’ve become almost a rarity. Seeing her play freely in nature reminded me of how important such experiences are for children today. The food at Chirak Van is delicious, made with love and fresh local ingredients. And just behind the farm flows a beautiful river with a small waterfall — spending time there is an absolute must. Madhu and Sampada are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home. Chirak Van is more than just a place to stay — it’s a place to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.
